The focus of Dr med. Almut Hirsch’s special neuropaediatric consultation hours is the treatment and care of children and adolescents with neurological illnesses. Dr med. Almut Hirsch can look back on many years of expertise as a paediatric neurologist caring for patients with complex neurological conditions in socio-paediatric centres.

The surgery offers diagnosis and therapy for:

Care includes a detailed and comprehensive anamnesis, a thorough neuropaediatric examination, full diagnostics (EEG, sleep EEG, electrophysiological examinations, specific lab tests, etc.) and the creation of individual therapy plans.

We place particular emphasis on the involvement of parents and the home environment. We cooperate closely with surrounding neuropaediatric clinics and hold interdisciplinary discussions with early intervention centres and other support centres. Should further diagnostics or imaging procedures (magnetic resonance imaging, etc.) be required, these can be promptly arranged.

If you are unable to make your appointment, we request that you cancel the appointment in a timely manner (24 hours in advance), so that we may promptly offer one of the limited appointments in our special consultation hours to another family.
